Close the scene after playing

I would like by scene to wait 3 seconds before loading and playing and once it has completed the playing to close and disappear from the website since it is overlaying data on the website.

Is this possible?

Yes!
When using the overlay embed option - you can specify this behavior in step 4 - "effects".
