SitePal’s Lead Generator allows SitePal speaking character (rather, the players) to collect contact information from web site visitors - information such as name, phone number, and email address. The information is emailed to the SitePal customer in real time, and collected in a report. No programming is required to use this feature. This feature is available to Silver accounts and higher.
Within the Editor (Step 5, Player), choose a player (the selected player will appear around your avatar and background). Then, edit the player settings by clicking the “Display Settings” or “Functions” tabs. The “Display Settings” tab allows you to edit colors and buttons on your player.
A SitePal player is a graphic frame (or skin) that appears around a Scene when it is displayed. The player can include a volume control and Pause button, allowing site visitors to control the volume and playback of a SitePal Scene. Users can customize each aspect of a SitePal player.
Yes, SitePal customers can currently use SitePal’s PowerPoint plugin. Currently, internet access is required to use this feature. You may download the PowerPoint plugin here. For complete PowerPoint Add-in instructions, check out the PowerPoint Add-in manual.
Yes, SitePal Gold accounts and higher support this functionality. For detailed instructions, see "API references & examples" on SitePal's support documentation page.
You can re-size the embedded Scene after embedding it in the page in one of the following ways:
First, you can repeat the embed process by selecting “Embed Scene” and setting the desired dimensions.
Second, if you are familiar with HTML, you can simply modify the dimensions properties in the HTML code in the web page in which the scene is embedded.

Sure! You can set the limit on the number of times a repeat visitor hears the audio. To do this, visit the “My Scenes” page. Next to the scene set the “Playback Limit” box to ON and enter the number of times the audio should play for returning users. When you are done, click “Update” at the top of the page. The playback counter is reset a month after the visitor came to the page for the first time. The playback counter is also reset when a new audio is selected for the scene.
Adding a scene to your page is very simple, all you need is to copy and paste a small piece of HTML code. Some great resources include the Getting Started with SitePal video, the Getting Started manual, and the comprehensive SitePal User's Guide.
A Scene combines a SitePal character, a background, and an audio message that you select, type, or record. The scene is what you eventually include (“embed”) in your web page. SitePal customers can create multiple scenes, allowing them to include several talking characters with various messages across their websites. Scenes can be updated anytime and any changes immediately appear on live web pages.
