Still waiting for my activation email!

Elliott Dixon 8 years ago in SitePal Silver updated 8 years ago 6

I enrolled 5 days ago under the 15-day free trial, but have not received yet my activation email. I've checked my spam folder and confirmed that my email provider is not blocking out oddcast.com. Of course I have also confirmed that there were no typos in my email address. I've sent several emails to Support but no-one has replied. I am concerned that my 15-day period will expire and I will still not have even accessed the site, but Site Pal will start paying themselves $19.95 per month from my credit card without me ever getting the service I'd be paying for. Can anyone offer any insight for how to resolve this problem?

Hi Elliot -

You wrote to support and received no response? Not sure what happened - sometimes emails go into spam...

I activated your account - so you should be all set, your login will work. I also extended your free trial by a few days.

Take care, and let me know if anything else is amiss...

Best,

Gil

attach the avatar to a specific dom element into js

Giovanni Casella 8 years ago updated by Gil Sideman 5 years ago 3

I would like to pass to the function

AC_VHost_Embed(.....) the id of a specific div (or the dom element) where the flash object should be included.

I am trying to include the avatar into an angularJS application and I would like to create a directive. The problem is that if I try to execute AC_VHost_Embed(.....) into my js code (nto embedded in the html) I can't see my own page but I see only the avatar. Looking at you code I have seen that you attach the avatar to the document object.

There is any chance to do this?

Overlay embedding with fixed positioning?

Keith Adams 13 years ago updated by Gil 13 years ago 1
Is there any way that I can use Overlay embedding with Page Content but with the scene remaining in the same position relative to the content irrespective of the scroll position or screen width. I'm trying to position a scene as an overlay on top of a fixed image but I want the scene to remain over the image irrespective of when I scroll or when the screen is resized.

Keith -
Yes - in the "Embed Overlay" publish wizard, in "Step 2 - Placement" select
"Anchor my scene to: Page Content"
Be sure to select the alignment option that represents your page's appearance.

Gil

There are two ways to change the way that audios render.

The easiest is our post FX. - When creating audio in the scene editor, there is a lightning bolt next all audio names. This opens our FX editor and allows you to apply a filter to the audio. This can effect speed or pitch or audio depth. FX are post filters so you can remove them if you ever decide that it does not sound right.

The other option is through SSML calls - You can add calls like pitch or rate directly to your TTS text to adjust the audio for a portion or all of the audio. This only works in 3 of the four TTS engines that we use. We have some examples at http://www.oddcast.com/support/NeoSpe...

Can I upload a photograph to be used as a Character?

Eva 13 years ago updated by Gil Sideman 4 years ago 3
If I want to create a 3D avatar of myself or any photo really, can I?
features faq how to characters customizations photo photoface upload
Answer
Eva 13 years ago
Yes!
SitePal Silver accounts and above can use the PhotoFace feature, which allows you to create an avatar of any human photo! You can upload pictures to be converted into PhotoFace models by clicking the “3D Photoface” tab and then the “Create Your Own” button. This will walk you through the uploading and model creation process.

Anyone can try this feature in the SitePal Editor.
