The full body characters are imminent (next few weeks). There is no question they will be out this summer. As for the currently existing characters - it is too early to say.

For the time being - you might want to adopt the full body characters & replace the "classic" characters (as we have come to refer to them) on your pages.

Hope this helps,
Gil
Yes
The current characters already work on mobile (no Flash) devices by displaying a video. In the future this implementation will be upgraded/improved to an HTML5 version.
From a timeline perspective - the full body characters will arrive first, and the currently existing characters will be converted to HTML5 later on.
Hope this helps.

Hello Winstone -

We test our programs on Windows 7 all the time. This issue could be a problem with your browser configuration, or some conflict within your web page.

Please post a link to your web page (where your SitePal is embedded), to allow us to review and advise.

At the same time - suggest clearing browser cache & cookies and then trying again. See if the problem recurs.
Try loading one of our examples (in the SitePal support section) and see if ithe problem happens then.
Best,
Gil

This is curious - I just tried it myself and it works fine with the Felipe voice.

As you may realize - emotional cues are not supported by all voices - and when you select a certain voice, the "emotional cues" button becomes enabled if the voice supports this feature.

That said - Felipe is a voice that does support this feature - and I do see it active and working on my end. Please try again - re-load the SitePal editor - if you still see the problem kindly send a note to support@sitepal.com - and they will try to diagnose further and get to the bottom of it.

Best,
Gil

Here's what we found out. On Sunday evening you apparently attempted to signup for a free trial. The cc company refused the transaction, and you tried a gain, a total of four times.
Two of the transactions were rejected for unknown reasons ( the cc company does not always clearly divulge their reasons ) and the following two transactions were rejected due to "incorrect zip code".

To be clear - these were "authorization" transactions - where by we establish the validity of the cc information so that we may charge it in 15 days (if appropriate).
It is our way of enabling the later charge without saving the user's cc details (which we do not).

The cc company placed an authorization hold for $19.95 for two of these transactions. It is not clear to us why they did so - because (again) the transactions failed.

Because the transactions failed - no SitePal account was created for you. Which is why you did not receive a "welcome" email - nor were you able to login to your account - as no account existed.

Action Taken:
* we have cancelled the authorization transactions. Please allow several days for these to clear up from your cc statement.
* Support will follow up with access details to a Free Trial account - there is no charge - should you choose to use it we would be happy to support you.
* We received your voice message and someone will call you back shortly.
* We were unable to locate any email sent to support - I'm interested to know which address you wrote to so we can investigate further.

I'm sorry about the inconvenience - I can't say why the cc company rejected the transactions, but it was not our doing....

Best regards,
Gil

Dear C -
We are looking at what happened & whatever did happen we will set this right.
Hold your horses, a solution is on the way.

SitePal does offer a 15 day FREE trial - and a 30 day Money Back Guarantee on top of it. Anyone who has ever asked for their money back within the first 45 days of signup has gotten a full refund. I guarantee it.

So kindly - please allow us a bit of time to sort through what happened - and we will respond both here and via direct email.
Best regards,
Gil

Mike - (and anyone else who might be reading this)

I am sorry for not following up right away.

This problem - which affected many of our customers some months ago was fixed the next day. We responded to most users who made contact by email and neglected posting a response to this venue.

My apologies, Gil
Vishal -

Yes - that's possible to do. It get's kind of tricky if you want to use the API to control each character separately - which is why you would need to embed them each in a different iFrame.

We've created an example which demonstrates how -

Pablo - I am not sure I understand. How can we help?

Windows phone has not been a priority for us due to its low market penetration (no offence, I know people who swear by it).

But following your post and other recent feedback, we decided to look more closely. We acknowledge that the SitePal video does not show up on the Windows phone - and we think it should not be hard to resolve.

This has been added to our priority list and should take several weeks to be implemented.

Best regards,
Gil
