I never tried it - but I don't think it will work. I don't believe articulate will be able to manage converting the embedded Scene.
Please do try and let us know.

Of course - they can each say a different message.
Just select a different audio for each of the Scenes.

Moreover, you can have each of them randomly say a different message *each time* the page loads. You can do that by assigning multiple audios to the Scene.

Hope this helps,

Hi Alexander -

The implementation for mobile devices was launched 5 months ago.
It was revised and finetuned in the first days (as above comments show)

The gist of it - on any device that does not support Flash (i.e. iOS device) - our embed code automatically detects lack of Flash support, and generates a video of the Scene instead of the flash content.

This works on iPhone and iPad, on some Android devices that do not support Flash, blackberry etc.

This will only work when using our Javascript embed code. Of course the video implementation does not support dyncamic API calls, and it also does not support playback on load. But it is much better than the alternative.

Hope this helps,

Hi -

I'll try to clarify.
There are two separate & distinct ways to create a speaking AI "bot".

1. Using AIMC, after creating your bot's knowledge base (or logic) - you publish the speaking bot via SitePal (nothing to do with Pandorabots)
To do so - you can either use an AI "Player" (select in the editor) - or use the Client API (sayAIResponse)

2. if you would rather use Pandorabots (not AIMC) to create the Bot's logic - you can publish your bot with a SitePal speaking character from within Pandorabots. To do so, your SitePal and Pandorabots accounts must be linked.
This is automatic if you purchase your SitePal account on the Pandorabots site.
But if you purchased the SitePal account on the SitePal site - as most people do - we can help & link the two accounts for you. Send a note to support@sitepal.com with your pandorabots account id.

From your question it would seem that #1 would be best for you.
Hope this helps,

Hi -
The Server API documentation is available on our support page, here -
http://www.sitepal.com/support_docume...

if you have any questions about using the documentation - you may get a faster response by sending a note to support@sitepal.com - or feel free to post questions here.

It might be good to explain to our support engineer what you are trying to do - thus he or she can guide you about the best way to accomplish, which API and which calls etc.

Hope this helps!

Correct
The end user does not need to know. The alert you see in the technical example is meant to demonstrate the completion of this otherwise invisible event.

You would replace the alert with a counter noting the number of audios loaded. When all audios have been loaded your playback would commence.
Hope this makes sense,
Gil
Ryan -
you would need to use loadaudio to load all audio segments in advance of playback.
once you receive confirmation that all audios have been loaded, go ahead and start the playback sequence. The pause between audios should be minimal.
Ryan -
Yes, you can preload the audios.

I assume you are looking to string together several audios for continous playback.
check out the "loadAudio" API function.

See support example here -

Hi Daniel -

You can certainly add a sitepal speaking character to your site.
Check out the SitePal video tutorial - it may help. Link available at the top right of the screen when you login to your account.

But when you say "test-to-speech" widget - what do you have in mind? Can you point to an example?
