Hi Loretta -
You can create your own 'photoface' 3D character from a your photo. It is not hard to do -
- open the SitePal editor
- goto Models section, select the 3D tab
- select 'Create Your Own'
- upload a hi resolution photo of yourself, shoulders and up.
- follow the instructions on the screen.
This procedure is not difficult and to succeed mainly requires a very good photo, that portrays your face clearly, and matches our guidelines.
If you are finding it difficult, and would like us to create your custom 3D character for you, we can do so for a fee. send us a note at sales@oddcast.com to find out more.
We are not familiar with ManyCam - so I can't tell you whether your character can work with it.
Please try any of our SitePal characters with ManyCam and see for yourself.
Best,
Gil
Hi Parvez -
Can you post a link to your test page that would enable us to see the problem?
If you prefer not to post it here - please send to support@sitepal.com and ask that the link be forwarded to me.
Thanx!
Yes, we offer an HTTP TTS API where you can specify text, language and voice - and to playback the audio online in your application.
We also offer a license which allows you to download the audio and save it in your app.
For more details please send a note to sales@oddcast.com
Best,
Gil
Hi Parvez -
Thanks for bringing this up. We'll be looking into this issue & I'll advise further once I have more information from my team.
Best,
Gil
ps.
We've tried to recreate this problem, from the US, Europe and India - and we do not see any unusual or unexpected loading times for our own test pages.
For the page noted below -
US page load time in total is between 2 and 3 seconds.
India page load time in total is between 5 and 6 seconds.
This is normal.
Your time may vary depending on the specifics of your internet connection.
Please follow up with more information so that we may further advise.
Regards,
Gil
Hello Parvez,
We could use some more information from you to help us clarify the problem.
When the loading is slow - how long does it take?
Where are you located?
Please load this page -
http://www.oddcast.com/support1/sayAudio.html
with the dev tools open & 'network' tab selected & 'disable cache' selected - and send me a screenshot similar to the attached - displaying the timing of the loading of various page components. This would be helpful to understand the nature of the problem.
