Sorry for the very late response - I imagine that you already found a solution, but I will respond for the benefit of anyone reading this.
Yes, it is possible to integrate via a C# API into a C# application (same for C++).
We have not tried doing so in Delphi - but I don't see why it would not work.
Note that C++ and C# APIs are supported only for Platinum accounts.
If you are interested - contact our support & we will send you over source code API examples in C# (or C++) - which you can then expand on.

Adding your own accessories is unfortunately not supported. If you need a custom accessory - our production department can create it for you for a fee. Please send a note to sales@sitepal.com & let us know what you had in mind.

A few quick thoughts -
#2 - The video takes about 2 minutes to generate after the Scene is created or modified. (according to one customer up to 5 min..).
If you try after several minutes - is the video still missing? Let me know and we will look into it if it is.
fyi - we are looking to introduce a callback API to advise of video generation completion. This update is in the works and should be made available as part of the Server API later this month.
#4 - please try this process again - only this time do not re-save the scene (it should not be necessary) but wait a couple of minutes

We will be adding this functionality - not via polling, but through a callback.
By setting a callback URL in your account - you would be able to receive notification each time video generation is complete, for any of your account's Scenes.
This update will likely require about 2 weeks before it is deployed.

Yes - export options are available. We support export in Video format, as well as Flash export.
The export options allow users to incorporate speaking avatar content in offline applications (i.e. CD distributed content, or an intranet based solution).
Export options are available for our Avatar Studio account - that's the more professional/enterprise version of SitePal.
