When we use "sayText"-function as follows:
sayText('We mustn’t flight!',4,1,3);
The voice will say "We" "m" "u" "s" "t" "n" "t" "flight"

How can we solve the above problem? Please advise, thanks!

How do I change the size of an embedded Scene?

How do I edit the dimensions of an embedded Scene?

Hello!

Though Eva's advice below is quite old, it still applies.

Can you please post a link to your page where we can view your SitePal scene embedded in the page?

Or if you prefer - please send us the link to: support@sitepal.com.

This will allow us to review your implementation and advise further.

In addition - since Eva posted her response so long ago we have since introduced API controls that would allow you to dynamically resize the Scene in your page without reloading it. This method is useful for implementing responsive design.

Checkout our API function "dynamicResize" - in the Standard (client) API Reference - available on our support page here - www.sitepal.com/support

Also - please see the following technical support examples as a reference:

How do I select the avatar character (3D Model only) from the server API?

Rui 13 years ago updated by Gil 13 years ago 3
Can't find on the SitePal_Server_API.pdf a list of avatars to choose from...
Answer
Gil 13 years ago
If all you are looking to do is select from a pre-defined set of characters (without providing any character editing features, scaling etc.) - then I would go with the approach outlined above - create a Scene for each of the characters you want to support, without background or audio.

Using the API you would duplicate the appropriate Scene per user's selection, and dynamically assign audio and background via api calls.
Will that work for you?

Exported as flash, embedded, avatar will blink very rapidly

mulveyjd 13 years ago updated 13 years ago 3
As soon as the first blink happens the avatar will blink very quickly and never stop. This happens infrequently, but is an issue for some users.

http://youtu.be/iOZUVwXCZOo

Currently trying to troubleshoot on a Win 7 computer. It happens within IE, Firefox and Chrome with Flash v. 11.2.202.233 (current).

Has this happened to anyone else?
